We all know finding time in our hectic schedules can be difficult. Finding the time to do anything, even simple house chores like washing dishes and folding laundry. In fact, I have both of those things on my to do list right now. So when do we find time for the things we love? The things that we absolutely need to do to survive. For our sanity. The answer is not a simple one. And I wish it was, because I have been very lax in my writing lately. The answer is that we need to make the time. Whether it means giving up A couple minutes here and there, or an hour on a pre-scheduled day. We need to make the time we need to soothe that our souls. I know I’ve been having difficulties carving out the time. When I get home, I’m tired. Just bone tired. It comes from having two jobs and not having the money for vacations (which we all desperately need, in sure! 😉) it comes from the constant stress and battery of trying to make a life that’s worth living, but how do we do it? How do we force ourselves to be motivated? How do we force ourselves to stop doing the things we have to do in order to do the things we need to do. We have to make a schedule! Make a schedule and stick to it, because there’s no other way to sue the savage beast of stress on our backs than to plan our time.
What sort of things do you do to schedule? To find the time to soothe your soul? To find the time to write?
